Flea Market Friday

Better late than never? I hope so! Well..... my SD card drive on my computer began working on it's own today so I was able to get some photos uploaded. You may purchase any of these items and lots more items by clicking here!
So here are a few vintage finds for you!
Above is a set of three hand painted vintage butterflies. Made of porcelain, ceramic or something similar. Painted with a sort of pink / mauve colored roses with brown vines. Cute wall accent or decor!

Great little souvenior from Atlanta Georgia based The Varsity! Here I have for you this collectible glass from The Varsity featuring football player throwing the football. Yellow enamel paint is symbolic of the Georgia Yellow Jackets Football team. A little history....The Varsity Drive-In came to be in 1928. On days that the Georgia Yellow Jackets have a home game it is said that the downtown restuarant has approximately 30,000 visitors! That's a lot of food being served!! Great fresh food served daily like hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, Frosted Orange, and desserts are always fresh and soooooo good! The main location in downtown Atlanta accomodates over 600 cars for curbside serving and approximately 800 customers inside. It is the world's largest Drive-In restaurant! Did you know that actor, Nipsy Russel got his start at The Varsity as a curb hopper? It's true! Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall x 2 1/4 inch opening.

Great Smoky Mountains plastic lidded collectible cup!

Happy Halloween friends!! Keep safe and have great fun!!

Lots of love,

Barbara

Love the Varsity - been there on game day when going to see the Ga Tech Yellow Jackets....Naked Dog with Rangs and a PC - Yum Yum!! Loved to watch through the window as they made onion rings, assembly line fashion - just the fastest service you can imagine!! A sure treat when you go to Atlanta!!
