My brother-in-law, Bobby, was injured and hospitalized Saturday. He is a diver and was getting ready for a dive in Florida and something happened to the tanks or their valves. There was an explosion and he was burned. Luckily he was near one of the best burn units in Florida and drove himself to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. If there is anything fortunate about this incident, it is that he received only 1st and 2nd degree burns. I say "only" not to make light of the situation at all, but that I shiver to think of what I know could have occurred and just how dangerous of a situation he was in. Thank God he survived and he was released the next day from the hospital, though he does have to follow up with a trama center locally. He is in pain, as you can imagine, and has a lot of healing to go through. Please pray for the Lord to heal him....and while you are at it, if it's not tooooooo much trouble.... please pray for my sweet sister too... Bless her heart, she doesn't think she is a very good nurse, but I know she will do just fine! Bobby is going to need lots of care for a while. But he is a strong man and in good health. With lots of care and prayer I know he will be on his way to recovery soon!

Now on to Christmas decorating and sparkle and glitz! Which I know we all love!

I know so many of you who love the romantic style of home decorating and love to carry that theme into your holiday decorating. So, I have been busy painting up some new ornaments just for you!!

Aren't these sweet little heart ornaments just the cutest ever? I think they would be great to display not just at Christmas but they would fit in well even with Easter decorations, Valentines..... well.... just everyday! And my goodness at the sparkle! This photo doesn't even begin to detail the lovely glitz, bling and sparkle! I applied a tiny, tiny, tiny and very refined glitter to them! I love how they turned out!And talk about sparkle! Here is a sampling of some of my other ornaments.
All glittered up with the tiniest refined glitter more like glitter dust!

And I painted some more of these ornaments. Not exactly like the others but will coordinate beautifully with them! I received such nice compliments on them and some requests for some more. I have some painted just like the originals that will be listed sometimes this week. The roses on these are painted around the entire ornament and then detailed with yes... you guessed it....glitter detailing! If you are one that asked for more ornaments just like the others check back....they are coming!

And here is a two toned ornament that I painted up and embellished with some lovely glitter detailing and topped with a pretty organza ribbon bow and hanger.
