Found Treasures and A Tiny Bit of Rain!

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:12
Last weekend I got out and about and was just tickled at all the goodies that I found! It's nice to have a great thrifting day! Just lookey at all I found!! I found an embroidered & cutwork tablecloth and cute little bluebird pie bird. I never knew just what a pie bird was until a few years ago. Do you? Well...just in case you don't, I'll tell you! You sit the pie bird on the pie and the steam releases thru the opening, in this case, the little bird's beak. This helps to keep the pie from bubbling over. And there are all kinds of pie birds and they may not be a bird at all!

And these two little rooster towels..... you know I have a thing for roosters!
This little figurine.

And this vintage tree topper that is hand decorated by European hand crafters.

This made in Italy wall plaque.

This cute as can be corn design butter dish.

And this cute serving set, love it!

I found these little birds, who are now nestled in my craft room.

And lots of framed roses!

I also wanted to thank you all so much for your prayers for rain in Georgia! Last night we did receive some rain, anywhere from 1/4 inch to 1 inch in some parts of Georgia. Please continue to pray as state climatologists claim that we will need months and months of above average rainfall to pull us out of this drought but they are anticipating way below average of rainfall. Everyday you can see our lakes declining. Our drinking water is very threatened at this point. There are "Pray for Rain" signs all over our little town. Never have I seen our lakes sooooo low. Your prayers continue to be appreciated.
