Barbara, I'm dropping by via Marion's blog in Wales...a dear friend I met through blogging.....
In talking with her this morning she mentioned that you had visited her blog and commented....Marion thinks you may be located in the area of our cabin....
We like the farmer's cheese also... we have been coming to the Helen-Dahlonega area for about 40 years.....Nacoochee Valley and Old Sautee Store are favorite places...we only visit our cabin a few times a year but we along with our children and grandchildren enjoy time spent there....
Marion and I are each blogging on their visit with us in May....lovely people in every way....
You have a lovely blog...I look forward to returning.....
Wishing you a blessed weekend...Betty @ Country Charm
I always enjoy meeting a new fellow blogger and was so pleased that you stopped by and left a comment for me. Yes, we did so enjoy our visit to Georgia.... it was truly amazing. I was delighted that you identified with my posting about the Old Sautee Store and the exquisite little town of Alpine Helen.
As suggested, I checked out your posting (November ‘07) about this area and found it to be a most interesting read..... loved seeing your pictures that were familiar sights to me. Of course we were introduced to ‘grits’ and we loved it...... We brought packets back home with us. The whole area is beautiful with a fascinating history.
I had a long telephone call to my dear friend Betty of Country Charm Blog yesterday and as a result, I’m pleased to see that she has now introduced herself to you and you are in touch with each other. Isn’t blogging just amazing, the way it connects.
I found your post about needle felting interesting, I’d not heard of it before and have checked out a few web sites that give instructions. I’ve made a note to try it out during the coming winter months...... at this time of year, my time is committed to gardening.
I’m including a link to a uk site that you may find of interest....... on needle felted postcards....... I think they are beautiful, have you tried them.
I see that we share many of the same interest, so I shall certainly keep in touch. Have a blessed Sunday. Best Regard - Marion

Hi There!
Are you using a homemade light box for your photos? They look great!
Do you have a tutorial on how to make one?
