This past weekend my husband and I decided to take off to see what we thought would probably be the last weekend to see the peak of the autumn color here in the North Georgia mountains. So we decided to head up to Blairsville, Georgia. Come on along with us!! It was a beautiful autumn day! All of these photos were taken from inside my car as we drive along the way. I have to say that this autumn that Georgia was just bursting with beautiful breathtaking color!!

Well this California girl is having a few pings of envy over here. I think in my neighborhood I counted 4 trees that are displaying Fall colors. What a lovely tour you have shown us. I think my favorite is the highway north sign with that gorgeous auburn brown tree behind it.

We were at our cabin in October and the leaves were not at peak color so thank you for showing them to us now...some of the places you mention are in our cabin area....
