Covered in White Here in Northeast Georgia!

But not the kind of white that comes from snow!! No, it is from the blooms of the Bartlette Pear trees and many of the fruit trees are blooming so beautifully now here! So I have been taking photos from my car again as I drive about town. Here is a beautiful fruit tree that I saw as I was out and about. Wish I knew what kind it was for it is just overflowing with blooms!

This Bartlette Pear tree was just beginning to bud when I took the picture, but within days was in full bloom. Too bad I can't find the photo!

The Forsythia shouts that spring has sprung with its vibrant yellow blooms!

And a few jonquils still dot the landscapes here and there.

Wishing you a Happy Spring!

Lots of love,

Barbara

Hi there,
My Bartlette Pear was in full bloom last week...now it's kind of fading. They don't last long, but they are so beautiful when they are at their peak. My buttercups are up, and my bleeding heart has come to life. It has buds ready to bloom. I didn't think that it would bloom this early. Your forsythia is gorgeous, too. Looks like Spring has unpacked her bags at your house!!!! Beautiful landscape!

Marilyn

It looks beautiful there! My forsythias just have tiny, almost invisible buds :-( sigh...we'll be having several more frosts before Spring really gets going here.

How beautiful all those colors are in the landscape of Georgia. All I see here is white snow. Real snow! I miss fruiting trees and scents the give off. Enjoy it Barbara it's heavenly to see the photos.
