Share Your Vintage Finds! Coming Saturday, August 28th, 2010! Get Ready!

I have been thinking about how passionate I am about vintage. About how I love the hunt for vintage things. And I KNOW that lots of you love it too! So I thought that I would try something new. Vintage Love Saturdays! Now I know lots of you will be out searching for vintage on the weekends, because, well....that's what us vintage lovers do! So, with that being said get ready to participate and plan ahead! OK? Now don't let me down!! I am anxious to get Vintage Love Saturdays going!

Beginning this Saturday, August, 28th, 2010 let's begin. To give us a starting place I thought that we will start this Saturday with sharing our vintage cookbooks. By vintage let's set the standard to be 20 years old and older.
I am still gathering my thoughts but would love to hear your thoughts too! Would you like to share our vintage items by theme, how about other posts like estate sale and thrift shop stories of interest, recycled vintage, repurposed vintage, trash to treasures, posts on identifying certain vintage items? While I think it thru, you think it thru too! Please post your comments for ideas and suggestions and we will see how this goes! But this coming Saturday, August 28th, we will begin with vintage cookbooks! OK!

So get ready!! I am not sure about the other blogging networks, but if you use Blogger you can prepare your posts ahead of time and schedule them to post on a certain date and time in the future by clicking on "options" and inserting the date and time in the field provided. Then check back here on Saturday and add your link to the linking tool. Please make sure to provide a link back to Southern Lady's Vintage so that others who are reading your blog or who wish to participate can join in too!

I'm looking forward to us vintage lovers sharing our love of vintage!

PS while you are here would you mind hitting the little share buttons below and share this post? Many thanks!!

I love this idea! I think by theme would be a good way to start. I can't wait to show off my tattered and well used vintage cookbook given to me by my mother.

It is a fun idea! I already have a post ready for the VMTeamFlea event for Saturday!
So, I will just say that I have a first edition Mastering The Art of French Cooking!
I love Julia Child she was so vivacious and down to earth! I would invite her and MFK Fisher to my "who would you invite to a dinner" ice breaker question!

I just wandered over from the cookbook post on Antiques Galore's blog. I love this idea. We just started blogging about our flea market outings at http://flea-bitten.blogspot.com and I'd love to join in on the Saturday posts!

I'm a jewelry artist on Etsy, but thinking about opening a vintage shop, too.

I voted for salt-n-pepper shakers for this week :)
