"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
It's funny how when your children grow up you realize....Whew....Boy am I getting old! I didn't really think that I was getting all that old until I realized that my son, well.... he's getting not old, but he sure is getting older! Still seems like he should be all safe and snug and cradled in my arms. Seems like only yesterday that I did hold him in my arms. Where did the time go? Today he turns 27 years old! YES! 27!!
Ok... I'm blinking back the tears. I'm not going to get all mushy here. I will just spend the day crying and doing too much time thinking about how time gets away way too soon.
So.... son, Happy birthday Brandon! I love you!
May all your dreams and wishes come true!
And oh...pleeeeeease don't be mad at me for posting one of your childhood photos for all of the blogging world to see!

Happy Birthday to Brandon!!
(He shouldn't be mad about the picture; he's a cutie-pie! ;)
What a lovely blog! Thank you for visiting me today! I especially love your quotes from Psalms posted throughout, especially this one: "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3".
Happy Birthday to your son!

I'm ready for fall too, but our temps aren't cooperating either.
Hope your son has a great birthday!
What a sweet tribute to your son! Happy Birthday to him (and congratulations to YOU, you are his Mom, after all!) I am loving your blog...thanks for sharing the scriptures.

P.S. I love the addition of the Blog With A Heart on the side of your blog. Great idea! You're so kind to me.
What a dear looking boy! I am so envious of you being a Southern Girl. Ever since I read Gone with the Wind as an 11 yr old I have had a love affair with the South! Had a look further down your blog, love those roosters! Thanks for visiting - Take Care - Rachaelxo

I'm in a bit of an identity crisis these days. I had my first child when I was still a child. I've always been the youngest mom at all the functions. I was a single mom so my baba and I were delightfully close. Now he's nearly 17 and I'm watching him walk out the door more often than I get to sit and talk with him. School, work, girlfriend, friends... UHG! Although I have since had 3 more children and they are still young, my heart hurts that my little boy is growing up, up and away... just like he's supposed to, just like God intended. With my other children, I'm not the youngest mom at all the functions any more. In fact, I see some struggling young moms toting on car seats and diaperbags and think, "Hrumph.. she's skinnier than I am.. and younger.." =) "For EVERYthing there's a season..." Blessings... Polly
Happy Birthday Brandon!
Hey, I'll cry too when my boys are all grown up. I've already cried because my oldest is turning 8! I know that's nothing... but it seems like I was just pregnant with him counting the days until he was born.
Where does the time go?.. and HOW do we make it STOP!!!!! LOL!!!
Happy Birthday Brandon!! How cute ! I bet he is handsome today!
Thanks for coming by my blog and helping me figure out what kind of flowers I have!
