Melissa at http://thecottagerose.blogspot.com/ has tagged me for "7 Random Things." Here is how it works. Once tagged, you give 7 random things about yourself that no one knows and then you tag 7 more bloggers to continue the tag. Then contact each one that you have tagged to let them know.

Ok.... I'm pretty boring but here goes!

1) I don't have much of a sweet tooth, BUT Krispy Kreme Donuts knows my name.I mean they know my FULL name, nicknames and my address. And they call out to me...by name! They truly do! If I don't answer them, well.... they haunt me even when I get home. I have to avoid them at all costs, but if I see them and if they see me I can not pass them by. I can not. They are my sweet tooth weakness. Well.... Krispy Kreme Donuts and those little chocolate covered cherries at Christmas. The gooey ones. You know, the ones with the juicey stuff. You know the ones. The juicey part is so strong and so sweet that it sometimes shuts your throat off and chokes you. Love them!

2) I hate driving over bridges. Gives me chills down my back. And of course my town has bridges EVERYWHERE! I live in a lake / mountain area. All of the bridges here are crossing over a lake. Which leads me to #3

3) PS - I can't swim. I can't float. I should be able to float. I don't know how a person can not float. But I can't float. Maybe that's why I hate to cross over bridges because I can't swim and if I don't swim and I don't float, well....

4) My Daddy always said that he didn't think I have ever or will ever meet a stranger. I guess I must have one of those faces that says "here I am...come on over here and tell me your life's history" because strangers will strike up a conversation with me anywhere. And I don't mean just simple conversation. I mean while I am standing in line at the grocery store or the bank or wherever they start talking to me and before I know it they have told me their entire life's history. And I listen, of course. I figure if they are telling me, they really want someone to listen.

5) When I was a little girl I just knew that I would marry Elvis. He was my boyfriend for such a long time.

6) I hate to cry. Makes me red & blotchy. Makes my make up run. Gives me a headache. Makes me feel wimpy. Drains my energy. I don't like to be red & blotchy, I don't like to re-do my makeup, I don't like headaches and I don't like to feel wimpy and I need all the energy I can get. Therefore, I try to make it a habit not to cry. I don't cry very often. Or at least not until lately. I've never really been a crier. If I do so on rare occassion, I am either very, very hurt, really, really sad or very, very angry. You don't want to see any of these traits in me.... It ain't pretty.

7) I could get lost in a matchbox. Yep, I could. Absolutely NO sense of direction.

Ok, that's it for me. Not much to tell. I'm a simple lady with a simple life.
