Painting on Glass

Do any of you paint on glass? I love, love, love painting on glass! I don't know why I haven't painted any in a while. Glass is a great surface but it took a while for me to get used to painting. Today, I was going thru some old photos of past projects and ran across this one of a clear glass dome that I painted. Several years ago I was painting of a lot of glassware and sold my items to local & surrounding area gift shops. I sold wine glasses, champagne glasses, cheese domes, cake domes, vases, well you get the idea!

I used to buy most of my glass items by the case. And I still have items remaining to be painted. I really should do something about that.

Have a blessed week!

This is absolutely beautiful. I've always loved glass painted projects. I've actually thought about taking a class to do this. I think there's a Donna Dewberry (?) class at my Joanns that offers classes for this.

This is a wonderful project and I'm really inspired to look into the class again.
