Good day friends! What a beautiful day today here in Georgia! It's a beautiful Sunday, near 70 degrees with a beautiful blue sky! I don't know why my date at the top of this post is showing as Friday unless it is because I started this post as a draft. Anyway... Beautiful day, blue sky...yes Spring is on the way and this day really gave me the Spring fever!! I felt like planting something! Spring awakens my love of gardening. But I had not one thing to plant, so I think in the next few weeks I will have to start looking for something so I can dig in the dirt! I try my very hardest to wait until after Easter so that I miss any late frosts here. But, boy oh boy do I get the itch to plant. Well...actually I get the itch to BUY plants and plan gardens and to get my sweet husband to do the digging! LOL! We had a nice day and enjoyed the company of my sister in law for lunch at a local restaurant. We also stopped by a local gardening center. The beautiful day must have given my sister-in-law the planting itch too because she wanted to look for tomatoe plants! We didn't find any by the way. Too early still.... But Spring IS coming! I know it. I feel it. I can't wait for it!

I also want to give a special shout out and a big, big, thank you to Marilyn at Unshelved Words who participated in the One World - One Heart Giveaway sponsored by Lisa Oceandreamer.

I am so tickled to have won this pretty little Blessings Keepsake Box from Marilyn. She also included some extras too! A pretty hang tag from Bluebird Lane.....

Oh! What's this inside?

Awwwww!!! Thank you so much Marilyn! I love it all! And thank you to Lisa for hosting the event!

I have so many blessings, so I know that this little box will come in handy!! Thank you, my new friend! I hope you all will stop by and give Marilyn a visit. Tell her Barbara sends a big hello to her!
I hope you all have a beautiful week filled with blessings!

Hi Barbara ~ your blog is so pretty... what a beautiful place to visit!

I don't have a garden (or a yard for that matter) where I live now, but I used to have a huge yard that I loved to garden in and I still get that itch every spring! What a wonderful way to spend some time... I even love the smell of dirt ~ lol Spring is just around the corner and will be here before you know it :) Yay!

Hi sweet Barbara,
oh wow you must have been grinning like a cheshire cat when you won that gorgeous keepsake box! how sweet is that.
hey i know what you mean about wanting to plant something...we have the opposite problem but, water restrictions. My garden is usually so full of colour right now but i just havent been able to plant much at all because we arent al;lowed to water much. Soooo depressing, i love my garden.
cant wait to see what you plant in a few weeks!
Big Hugs,
Shann

Hi, Barbara!

How sweet of you to visit my blog and leave sweet comments! I appreciate them so much!

I know how you feel about wanting to plant something when the weather is so warm -- but now it's supposed to sleet and I just know our azaleas are gonna suffer for it. I do love the cold weather, though -- just sorry for our few plants!

Please come back and visit anytime!
You're just too sweet!

Blessings,
Julie

Hi Barbara
Thanks for visiting me, I love your hand painted eggs in the post below! I'd be excited winning the keepsake box too, it is lovely. I've given up on our garden at the moment, our water restrictions make it so difficult to keep anything apart from native plants alive, it's survival of the fitest in our garden at the moment, quite sad really, things may change eventually!
